Request for Converting Intelaq License to Exemption License
It is a service of
converting a Intelaq license into a an exempted trade license, whereby a
nominal value is paid annually for a period of five consecutive years from
the date of the transfer.

Procedural Service
- Copy of National ID card.
- Copy of the passport or original decree (for non-abstract holders), addressed to the DET.
- Copy of Intelaq License.
- Service Request Form.
- Apply to Dubai SME by sending an email to info@sme.ae
- Reviewing the terms, conditions and fill out the service request form.
- The applicant submits the required documents.
- The Dubai SME representative communicates with the applicant to discuss the request.
- The applicant receives a letter of approval of the request to convert an Intelaq license into an exempted license.
- Refer to external service centers (outsourcing) to complete the process.

What is the
exemption period obtained if Intelaq license is converted to an exempted
license?
The exemption
period is calculated for a period of five years from the date of the first
renewal of the license after the conversion.
What are the
conditions required to convert Intelaq license into an exempt license?
The enterprise shall be100% owned and managed by UAE or GCC national(s).
The enterprise shall be in Dubai, including selected free zones.
The Applicant or any of the partners shall not have more than five Trade licenses (including licenses that he/she fully or partially owns or manages).
