It is the service of converting the licensing Entity of the trade license issued by the approved licensing entities in Dubai into an exempted license from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development.

2. Reviewing the terms, conditions and fill out the service request form.
3. The applicant submits the required documents.
4. The Dubai SME communicates with the applicant to discuss the request. 
5. The applicant receives approval letter of the request for Transferring the licensing entity to Dubai SME.
6. Refer to external service centers (outsourcing) to complete the procedures.

What is the exemption period if the commercial license issued by the approved licensing authorities in Dubai is converted into an exempted license by Dubai SME?
The exemption will only be used for the remaining period of 5 years from the date of issuance of the license.

What are the conditions required to convert licensing authority into Dubai SME?
The enterprise shall be100% owned and managed by UAE or GCC national(s).
The enterprise shall be in Dubai, including selected free zones.
The Applicant or any of the partners shall not have more than five Trade licenses (including licenses that he/she fully or partially owns or manages).
The age of the license shall not exceed five years from the date of issuance.
